Several months ago, First Friday Las Vegas held a contest to search out some talent amongst the monthly festival goers. The musicians that show up each month to play on a street corner or stage are unique in their own way and what better way to showcase such talent than to have a contest and provide someone with a great opportunity to be seen and give away a cool prize! The contest was on and the winner of the contest would receive a music video shoot which included a studio recording session, wardrobe consultation, and basic video shoot. The unanimous winner of the contest was a 16 year old singer songwriter(15 when she actually won) named Megan Williams and after much anticipation, the video release for her single “Loving Me” made it’s debut last night at Inspire Theater!
We are so honored to have had such an incredible turnout last night at the Inspire Theater in Downtown Las Vegas! Anya Peterson was on hand painting live on stage while the sounds of Justin James Turner and Friends(Christopher Randall Stiles and Michael E. Riley) filled the room. We would like to thank First Friday Las Vegas, Inspire Theater, and everyone else who contributed to a successful event that certainly changed one girls life and inspired her to reach for her dream!
